Check that the water reservoir or line is connected securely and that the group head, filter, and portafilter are clean. If the issue continues, service may be required.
Why isn’t my steam wand working?
A clog in the tip or a pressure issue could be preventing steam flow. Avoid forcing the wand and book a service call to prevent internal damage.
My machine is making unusual noises. What should I do?
Unusual noises often indicate a pump, motor, or internal pressure issue. Turn off the machine and contact our service department before continuing use.
What should I check before calling for service?
Ensure the machine is plugged in, water is turned on, and power is supplied. Check for visible leaks or blockages and reset the equipment if applicable. If the problem persists, contact us for assistance.
Maintenance & Preventative Care
How often should I have my espresso machine serviced?
For commercial equipment, preventative maintenance is recommended every 250 to 500 brew hours, or roughly every three to six months depending on usage. Regular service helps prevent downtime and extends equipment life.
What does your maintenance service include?
Preventative maintenance includes inspection, gasket and seal replacement, descaling, pressure and temperature calibration, and cleaning of internal components.
What are signs that my equipment needs service?
Reduced steam pressure, inconsistent temperature, leaks, new error codes, or unusual noises can indicate that maintenance is needed. Scheduling service early can prevent more costly repairs later.
